In Forma Di Rosa

Giacomo Grassi

In Forma Di Rosa

The concept implies total improvisation, without any preconceived structure, with the only suggestion/instruction: in forma di rosa (in the form/shape of a rose). For this reason each piece takes the name of a rose species or subgenre. The title also resonates with Pasolini’s Poesia in forma di rosa. Finally, they are what I like to call metaludes.

Giacomo Grassi

Born as a classical pianist, he has later expanded his aesthetics from jazz to electroacoustics.
