Bach In A Deckchair – Stripes

Giacomo Grassi

A personal transfiguration of some preludes and fugues from the second volume of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier.
The image which gives the title to the work, is that of a Johann Sebastian sitting or laying in a deckchair, cogitating and watching around in contemplation. He has also got a telescope through which he can observe planets and celestial bodies.

Giacomo Grassi

Born as a classical pianist, he has later expanded his aesthetics from jazz to electroacoustics.
